On today's show we discuss BE PRESENT and how through gratitude and mindfulness we can ground ourselves in the moment and experience greater happiness and joy. I share a scene from one of my FAVORITE movies of all time "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" and we learn the importance of eliminating the distractions (cameras) in our lives.

  1. This one is foundational to all the others. I find myself avoiding where I am sometimes and that isn't helpful or very fulfilling.

  2. Thanks for sharing LaRee's story and the vulnerability that required! I know I can use this story to help me when I am spiraling. And I love the Walter Mitty shout out. That has always been a favorite scene for me as well!
